What Is Mental Strength Training?

Your mental fitness is your capacity to handle the challenges of life with a positive mindset, rather than getting stressed or upset.

If you’re of average physical fitness, you can probably climb an average-sized hill with relative ease without getting physically stressed out or tired. But if you try to scale a mountain, you'll be out of breath, physically taxed, and climbing it would require a lot of effort and strain.


Most people are of average mental fitness, which means they’re able to handle the average-sized hills of life: the challenges with relatively low to medium levels of stress, but they’re not quite able to handle the mountains of life without getting stressed or upset.


Mom life can feel like scaling mountains every day. It's demanding and exhausting and sometimes seems all uphill.


When you build up your mental muscles, you'll be able to climb mountains of mom life with more positive emotions like empathy, curiosity and creativity, and be able to take calm, clear-headed, laser-focused action.

Saboteur Interceptor

This muscle helps you intercept the Saboteurs that cause negative emotions and keep you from being the mom you most want to be.

All of us have patterns of thinking that sabotage our own effectiveness and happiness with just 10 factors -- or Saboteurs. Your Saboteurs live in the survival region of your brain that's made up of the brain stem, limbic system, and parts of the left brain. 

Your Sage lives in a completely different part of your brain, in the middle prefrontal cortex and parts of the right brain.

When they get activated, they produce very different thoughts that produce very different emotions. The Saboteurs try to motivate you through emotions like fear, stress, anger, guilt, shame, and insecurity. While the Sage tries to motivate you through empathy, curiosity, creativity, passion, and purpose.

In this program, you'll identify your top Saboteurs and weaken their power. Then you'll strengthen your Sage to generate more success and sustained happiness.

There will be a maximum of 10 moms in the group.

This is a 12 week program, from January 3, 2022 through March 21, 2022.

Our first meeting will be on Monday, January 3rd from 8pm - 9pm Eastern time. Depending on the time zones of the group members, we may adjust that, but all calls will be held on Mondays.

Participating in the weekly group is a requirement of the program, but I know that sometimes emergencies come up and you might miss a meeting, so all calls will be recorded.

This program involves intense practice to break through years of bad old habits.

You will be required to watch a 1-hour video during weeks 1-6, practice your strength training exercises for a minimum of 15 minutes a day, and attend the 1-hour group calls on Mondays.

You're welcome to continue getting support from me once this group ends by working with me in a future group or 1:1.
